Today we have added one more score to our moneybox of interviews with artists. Today we had a unique chance to ask art interview questions a promising artist from New York. Stephanie is a multilateral person: in addition to drawing, her hobbies include reading, films, and yoga classes. In Stephanie's profile, you will find many works dedicated to her favorite cartoon characters. Her artwork looks so amazing and bright that it seems that her whole life is a cartoon palette. You can verify this personally by visiting her Instagram account @cauldroncustoms
During this artist interview, we learned that Stephanie makes custom orders for other people because she believes in that way she makes the whole world more joyful. Her creating small, bright pieces makes other people happier, and that makes her happier as well.
Our artist interview began with a short introduction when Stephanie introduced herself:
Hi my name is Stephanie and I'm from New York, U.S.A
My favorite color is aquamarine. I love reading, baking, movies and yoga. Being an artist allows me to create bright colored pieces and bring happiness to people, which is such an amazing opportunity.
What was the strongest influence you had when you were growing up ( artists, movies, cartoons, comics etc.. ) ?
My strongest influence growing up was my family. My parents have always been supportive of me creating art.
The next was a must-have question for all artist interviews:
What is your advice for a beginner artist?
My advice for a beginner artist is to practice! Have fun creating and do it often. The more you practice the more you will learn and improve. I love to learn a new art medium every year and try something new. Allow yourself to get expressive and create something fun.
Is there something that you have designed that you are most proud of?
I'm proud of my growth as an artist. I devote many hours into each piece and I'm happy to be able to do something I genuinely love.
Of all the questions for artists we usually ask, this one is my favorite:
Continue the phrase: I would never draw…
I would probably never draw... sad things. I love using vibrant beautiful colors in my art to bring happiness to people.
Do you have other hobbies besides drawing?
My other hobbies besides drawing are baking, reading and yoga.
Tell us how many brushers(markers, works) you have in your house?
I have so many art supplies I lost count! I have been collecting art supplies like markers, brushes, pens etc. For over 15 years.
One of the trickiest questions to ask artists is undoubtedly the question of a dream and the most daring creative plans:
What is your craziest idea for your dream work.
My dream job is what I currently do! Being an artist allows me to work from home and be with my family. It allows me freedom to be creative everyday and its something I always wanted to do since I was little.
What is your favourite Artistro markers or maybe color
I love Artistro glitter markers for a fun touch of sparkle.
What if you got the chance to talk to Stephanie? What artist interview questions would you ask her? And why not speculate. You can ask her any questions about art by yourself! Don't be shy to visit her Instagram account @cauldroncustoms to enjoy her amazing work!
