I really like these paint pens. (I’m no artist, clearly! I just like to color..). I’ve used many different kinds and it’s been hit and miss. Holding them upright and “ burping” them keeps paint from pouring out when you want more, but some have rigid tips and just don’t hold the paint. These little pens are pretty good! I’ve used them on smooth glass,(that’s the real test) ceramics, terra-cotta, fabric and metal. I am really happy with the price as well. Hoping to help someone else save time and money by getting these instead of the “ trial and error.” I use paint pens every day and so far, these are the closest thing to the old ones that I can’t find anymore. I hope this helps. Happy crafting! ( my dog agrees)
They are what you pay. I like the colors! The only thing I would change about this its that they arent really good for writting it takes soooo much time to get decent letters because of the markers tip itself but other than that I just have a problem with the pens leaking too much if you’re not careful with them.
I really love these paint markers!!!! Started painting kindness Rocks with my grandkids. But painting and young kids don't mix all the time! Now we have stepped up our Rock painting with these markers! I want to get more sets!!!! This is just my unbiased opinion. Product is Awesome! Thanks so much !!!!
These are vibrant and easy to use on rocks. Note that they must be primed properly to work. The box comes with instructions. After pulling them out from putting them away, they need a shake and some may need to be primed again. My 6 year old uses them to paint rocks without difficulty. I’m sure my 3 year old could as well but these are not washable so he hasn’t had a chance We use a clear sealant over top before we send them out into the world. We love them and will buy again when we need more.
I received these markers in the mail yesterday and used them last night for the first time. They are AWESOME! It is sooo much easier than trying to paint rocks and you can add details with ease. The only thing I noticed (which was totally my fault) was that if you loosen the top of the marker even just a little, then try to write with it, the paint will leak out of the crack and all over you. Like I said, nothing against the product, just a heads up if you’re clumsy like I am.
I am a crafter and I buy these pens to make my own signs. I know someone had said that if you pump them they come out in large flows, you can just pump then take the pen and draw a line and all the excess paint will come off so you cam make your detailed lines. Make sure you do not sore in cooler places or over the oven. They need to be shake and pumped and they are ready to use. The frame was also painted with the pen's. Hope this helps.
I've used these for a variety of projects. Just with my latest project, I had a problem with one pen of the set. The felt tip of the hot pink one wouldn't retract from inside the pen, and it ended up leaking all over me. But I ordered two of these sets and only this one issue popped up. They've otherwise worked well. When using on fabric, I recommend going over the lighter colors more than once.
